The PECO Cross Country League races are typically run on trail. The series consists of 5 races between October and March. Approximately 250 runners compete in each race. Race distances are between 4 and 5 miles. All races are chip timed.

PECO XC Races are moving over to an online entry system this season.

The simplest way to enter is to buy a season ticket online in advance for just £14. This provides entry to all five races. Once registered and paid for, you will not need to register again all season. You will collect your season race number at the first race you attend and then you just turn up to each race with your number and run.

Alternatively, you can enter each race in turn. The first time you register, you will need to pay £7 to cover your season race number (this number is valid for all 5 races in the season) and your race entry fee. At subsequent races you will only need to pay for your race entry (£4).

All entrants will be allocated a race number (with an embedded timing chip) which they must keep for the whole season. Replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £3.

The league is exclusive to the clubs that are members of the league. Races are only for fully paid-up members of League clubs, but members of non-League clubs may run as guests. All competitors must be paid up members of a club affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race: ‘Unattached’ runners are NOT permitted to enter.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER ON THE DAY, instead of in advance, then you will be defined as a “guest” and will not contribute to your team score. Only entries in advance will be League “counters”.
